Form Settings > Insurance
The Form Settings > Insurance section decides where the insurance offer appears in the Lunixi payment form (Checkout Form). If you use your own form, this section does not affect you; for the API path see API Path.
Settings
| Setting | Effect |
|---|---|
| Show the insurance tab | A separate Insurance tab appears on the form. |
| Show as an option at the payment step | The insurance offer appears as a selectable option at the payment step. |
- Both settings are off by default. If both are off, the form shows no insurance at all and makes no request for insurance.
- You can turn both settings on together.
- Save the setting with Save, together with the other settings on the Form Settings page.

For insurance to appear in the form
This section chooses where insurance appears in the form. For an offer to appear in the form, the following are also required:
| Condition | Where |
|---|---|
| Insurance is on and the Checkout form usage mode is selected | Insurance > General: Insurance Menu › General |
| The insurance type is enabled on your account | Insurance > Insurance Types: Insurance Menu › Insurance Types |
| You have an active connection with an enabled product of that type whose premium you collect | POS Center > Insurance: Provider Connection |
| The payment's basket items carry the insurance fields | Payment request: Setup |
If there is no eligible offer, the form shows no insurance; the payment is not affected. Checklist: Testing › If insurance is not offered.
Locked section
The section unlocks when you have at least one Active insurance connection. Otherwise the settings are not hidden; they are shown read-only with the Locked badge and your saved setting does not change.
| On screen | Reason | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| You have no active insurance connection | You have no connection, or none of your connections is Active. | Add the connection with Go to POS Center > Insurance: Provider Connection. |
| Your insurance connections could not be loaded | The connection status could not be verified. | Click Try again. |
| You do not have permission to view insurance connections | You do not have the insurance view permission. | Ask your account administrator for access: Provider Connection › Permissions. |
While the section is locked you can save the other settings on the Form Settings page; your insurance setting is not affected by that save.
Payment request and form setting
You manage insurance display in the form only from this section. The settings field of the payment request does not turn insurance on or off in the form; if you send an insurance setting inside settings, the request is rejected with 400 VALIDATION_ERROR. Details: Setup.
