The identity verification flow runs entirely in the browser — no server side needed. The merchant is authorized by a publishable key (origin-bound, verified server-side); the resulting sessionId bootstraps the SDK.

A publishable key is designed to sit in a browser: it cannot move money, cannot open customer data, and is origin-bound — it works only from the domains you allow.
